Who we are
Local GPs
GP surgeries from across Lambeth coming together to make sure we get our population of 340,000 residents vaccinated. It’s been an incredible effort as we have had clinicians, receptionists, administrators and volunteers come together to get the job done. And we could not do it without the support and partnership of community organisations.

As a volunteer for Friends of Tate Brixton Libraries gardening group, I have shared my love of gardening with the community. Now, working with Age UK Lambeth, I hope to continue meeting new people and making a difference with the right tools and information. It is a pleasure to learn new skills with such an active and friendly group.

Rio Macuiza
Bit about me: Hi, I’m Rio and I love being outside as part of the army cadets and Duke of Edinburgh award. I speak basic Portuguese and enjoy a friendly basketball game every now and then. I decided to become a Wellbeing Ambassador to step outside of my comfort zone and have more interactions with my local community.

Fatima Teixeira
My superpower is patience and the ability to listen and I also speak Portuguese, French and Spanish. I have taught information technology across many diverse communities andI am now working with Age UK Lambeth to assist older people in the borough - I may even share my knowledge of traditional Portuguese cooking and astrology!

Ferisa Symister
I like to work in the community to find out the thoughts and feelings of the people living there. I very much subscribe to Lambeth's "for us but not without us" mantra as you cannot form connecting communities without its residents who want to be consulted and included in shaping their borough. The health and wellbeing of Lambeth's residents is important and going forward it would be nice to see a happy and safe multicultural lambeth.

Rayan Altayeb
Bit about me: As a medical doctor, public health specialist, social entrepreneur, and health rights activist, I spent the last five years providing curative and preventive health services to under-served communities in Sudan. I recently joined Streatham Youth and Community Trust as a Wellbeing Ambassador because I believe in their vision of achieving health equity for underprivileged communities in Lambeth. I enjoy talking to new people and creating new networks with my fellow ambassadors. Outside work, I'm into reading and running.

Kehinde
My name is Kehinde. I am a final year student studying public health at the University of East London.
I am very passionate about public health especially at the local community level. What started as a passion for me is growing into a career where I can help communities stay as healthy and safe as possible. My role as a Wellbeing Ambassador has helped me put my passion into practice. I hope to continue to serve the community by helping to keep everyone safe and healthy
